PHILADELPHIA (TND) A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of a fugitive who assaulted an off-duty Philadelphia police officer, authorities announced Monday. The U.S. Marshals Service Philadelphia said multiple agencies are searching for 38-year-old Arthur Jones.

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) A special adaptive swing is being brought into Myers Elementary school in Bellwood for children with special needs. The previous swing needed some repairs, so the new swing is an upgrade.

State police are investigating after one person was pronounced dead as the result of a vehicle accident in Berks County Thursday evening, a press release states. According to state police, a 17-year-old male was traveling west on Old Route 22 in Upper Bern Township and approached another vehicle at a high rate of speed.

Multiple cases in the state are moving forward charging young juveniles as adults. One is a 14-year-old Clearfield County boy, Aaron Klingensmith, accused of shooting and killing a 12-year-old girl. Another being Nolan Grove, who was 13 at the time of allegedly killing a 12-year-old boy.
