Some candy store owners said stocking the shelves has been a challenge this Easter season. The supply chain for candy has been up and down recently according to the owner of Blaine Boring Chocolates in Johnstown, but there are a few items that have been more difficult to get.

Woman pleads guilty in connection to drug overdose death in Elk County

RIDGWAY - A Byrnedale woman has pleaded guilty in connection with an overdose death Monday. Elk County District Attorney Shawn McMahon said Allison Miller, 29, pleaded guilty to conspiracy for drug delivery resulting in death. McMahon said she was sentenced to four to 10 years in prison.

Last month, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania ruled against two Clearfield County hunting clubs who had filed a lawsuit against the Pennsylvania Game Commission over surveillance issues. The court found that the Game Commission was allowed to use cameras on the clubs property without a warrant because of legislation that dates back to the 1920's.

Florida school pioneers pouch system to lock away student cell phones during class

LANTANA, Fla. (WPEC) A school in Florida has found an interesting way of keeping students from using their cell phones during the day. Palm Beach Maritime Academy Secondary Campus believes they are the first school in the county to do something like this.
